Eco-friendly greenhouse project

Divatec has been involved in an “eco-friendly greenhouse” project called "Les Tomates d'Auïtou". The greenhouse has been connected to a local waste incinerator. The heat generated by this incinerator is transferred via a closed circuit to the greenhouse complex. Thanks to the residual energy from this incinerator and the integration of the latest greenhouse technologies, a wide variety of tomatoes can be produced without the use of fossil fuels, pesticides and with a minimal water footprint.

In partnership with Ridder, Divatec has fully equipped the greenhouse. The company has combined its skills in greenhouse irrigation engineering, electrical and hydraulic infrastructure, and process automation to integrate advanced control solutions.
